Yeah, okay, this is actually a work in progress. I'm very happy with it so far! I have to wait for the dark background to dry before I can paint the mane and tail, so the horse will not remain bald! Ignore the little green strip beneath it's feet, too, that's what remains from the old painting I painted over.

So a week or so ago, the same night I posted my panicked "Money" journal, I decided to I needed to destress. Normally I would sit down at the computer and play video games. This night, I tried something different and started to paint. Not bad, eh? Problems don't go away and it doesn't magically cure my depression or anxiety, but it does grant a lot more satisfaction than advancing in the game I'm absorbed in. I plan to do more! I'm thinking of doing a silver dapple for my next painting.

Anyways, oils on 16X20 canvas. I'm hoping to sell this at the arts festival in June. If you are actually interested (depending on finished version, obviously, you MUST note me before June!)
